Sarah

The only woman to whom God has changed the name as mentioned in the Bible. Waited upon God’s promise for years. Even though her faith wasn’t strong in the early stages, later trusted God and received the promise. Sarah sets us an example for all of us that even if we give up it’s never too late to get up!

Strengths:

Gave high respect to her husband (1 Peter 3:6).

Although she got tired of waiting on God’s promise, she gathered strength and trusted in God in the latter part and received the blessing.

The first woman to be mentioned in the faith list. (Hebrews 11:11).

Weaknesses:

Her faith was weak initially.

Instead of waiting upon God’s promise, she became a reason for the birth of Ismael since she acted on her own.

Tried to hide her mistakes. Complained about others.

Instead of correcting Hagar, she chased her away.
