Foreseeing!

Foreseeing!

Scripture: Romans 8:28-30

A sculptor has the skill to see the final image of an uneven, shapeless, and rough stone. This is called foreseeing.

Gutzon Borglum was a famous sculptor who sculpted many sculptures from 1867 to 1941. Of the many he carved, the very famous one is the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, located in the Rushmore plains of South Dakota State in the US. He has sculpted the faces of four presidents of the United States in that sculpture. When the housemaid of Borglum saw this sculpture for the first time, she opened her mouth in shock and asked, “Mr. Borglum, how did you know that Mr. Lincoln was there in that rock?”

To explain God, who sees and knows everything, the word foreseeing suits well. He sees everything about us and beyond that. He knows that we will stand before Him once all His works are done in us. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. (Philippians 1:6)

We cannot deny God. He is waiting to finish what He started in us and planned about us long ago. There was no hindrance in that. There can be no hindrance to that. But only us! We need to submit ourselves in the hands of the Most Highest Sculptor.
