Ben Kaufman

Dr. Benjamin M. Kaufman is founder and director of Leadership Development Ministries, a coaching and leadership training ministry based in San Juan Capistrano, California. In thirty-two years of full-time ministry he has served in a variety of ministry positions, including youth pastor, lead pastor, consultant, and missionary. Ben has provided leadership training in 37 countries. He is inspired by the words spoken of the Old Testament patriarch, Job, of whom it was said, “Your words have put men on their feet.” (Job 4:4) Through his coaching, training, and writing, Ben strives to help men and women persevere and remain engaged in effective ministry.  

 

 

 

Anjana Gounder

Anjana Gounder is of Asian Indian descent born and raised in the Fiji Islands. She is an ordained minister and fully appointed US Missionary with the Assemblies of God USA. She has served as an elementary school teacher in Fiji while working alongside her husband (Simon) in Christian ministry.  Currently, Anjana works in the Assemblies of God Southern California District office.  

 

 

 

 

 

Shelly Freeman

Shelly Freeman has served as Desktop Publisher and Web Administrator at Christian Life Assembly in Lancaster for the past 8 years and is currently the Kids Church Director. She enjoys serving on Staff for the So Cal AG District Pinecrest Kids Camp each summer. Shelly is also a small business owner and designer of her own Christian apparel line. Shelly has a passion for worship through dance and singing and has served on the worship team at Christian Life Assembly. Shelly desires that every believer embrace worshipping the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. She has a heart for Missions and loving others into the Kingdom. Shelly and her husband Dave have been married since June 1997 and have three daughters. She enjoys walking, learning to play piano and being creative through all types of crafts.  

 

 

 

Pastor Chuck Atherton

Pastor Chuck Atherton is the Lead Pastor of Tulare First Assembly of God Church in CA. He pastored Lakewood Life Center for 23 years before that. He has been ordained by the Assemblies of God since 1975. He is married to Ruth (a licensed minister) for 38 years. They have three sons, all credentialed ministers and are proud grandparents of five. Pastor Chuck has served the Southern California District Council of the Assemblies of God as an Executive Presbyter, General Council Presbyter Pastor for Southern California, a member of the Board of Vanguard University and the chair of various committees and specialized teams. “Building people to build people” is Pastor Chuck’s heart and vision for ministry. Not only is he a committed student of the word of God, but is a gifted communicator of its truths, with practical application for our lives today.

 

 

 

 

Sandra Oxford

I was born and raised in Taft, and attended from Kindergarten to College in the city of my birth.  I received my biblical training and love for God at Taft First Assembly.  I was blessed with numerous godly mentors and still apply their teachings today. For over a decade I have owned and operated, Agape In Home Care, Inc. in Bakersfield, and have many employees that I am blessed to pass on what I have been taught. My office is always open to pray for anyone in need. Through the years I have seen many miracles, and I give God all the glory.  I have witnessed healings, body, soul and mind.    

 

Dennis Schreiber

Dennis is the Executive Pastor at The Harbor Church in Lomita, California, where he also served as youth pastor earlier in his ministry. He has also served as a pastor in Granada Hills, CA and Artesia, CA. He is ordained with the Assemblies of God and a graduate of Vanguard University. Born in Texas, raised in Las Vegas, NV, most of his ministry has been in Southern California. He’s been happily married to his wife Connie for 33 years, has three children, two of which are serving in pastoral ministry, and at present count, four amazing grandchildren. While his ministry focuses primarily on discipleship, worship, and vision administration, he is a pastor with a great heart for missions.
